Gdynia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. Czech Natalie Stoupalova (187-1998) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Gdynia players scored in double figures. Gdynia's coach Philip Mestdagh used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Danish swingman Sarah Mortensen (185-1997, college: Villanova) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Savannah Wheeler (168-2001, college: MTSU) added 11 points and 8 assists in the effort for Torun.
