There was an upset in Zielona Gora where 4th placedStart (15-10) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Zastal (9-16) 101-92 on Thursday. Zastal looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Serbian center Veljko Brkic (206-1995) stepped up and scored 28 points for the winners and American guard Ty Nichols (190-1996, college: Keene St.) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. At the losing side Belgian point guard Emmanuel Lecomte (180-1995, college: Baylor, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and American swingman CJ Williams (196-1990, college: NC State) scored 16 points. Four Zastal and five Start players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zastal moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with GTK and Arka. Loser Start keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. They share it with Legia.
