The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedAnwil (24-6) in Wloclawek on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Start (19-11) 83-82 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Anwil. Belgian point guard Emmanuel Lecomte (180-1995, college: Baylor, agency: Players Group) scored 16 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (195-1991, college: Lamar, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 20 points during the contest.
