Very expected game when 6th rankedGdynia (2-2) lost at home to top-ranked Lublin (4-0) 76-68 on Sunday. Lublin made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Lublin outrebounded Gdynia 41-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by point guard Destiny Slocum (170-1997, college: Arkansas) who scored that evening 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Robbi Ryan (175-1997, college: Arizona St.) supported her with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals by forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Gdynia . Forward Stephanie Jones (188-1998, college: Maryland) added 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Gdynia's coach Martins Zibarts rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lublin have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Poznan. Defending champion Gdynia keeps the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with Sosnowiec.
