There was no surprise when 6th rankedKruszwica (8-4) lost at home to fourth ranked Trefl 2 (8-3) 91-74 on Wednesday. Trefl 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Trefl 2 made 10 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Szymon Kiejzik who led the winners and scored 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Franciszek Chac accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Trefl 2's coach Marcin Stefanski used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Jakub Nowak (186-1989) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Piotr Robak (194-1991) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kruszwica in the defeat. Five Kruszwica players scored in double figures. Trefl 2 moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Kruszwica dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with WKK 2 and Gorzow.
