There was a surprise result when tenth rankedWisla (4-6) won against on the road higher ranked Gdynia (6-4) 91-83 on Saturday. Wisla made 25-of-26 free shots (96.2 percent) during the game. American forward Taylor Williams (188-2001, college: Northwestern, agency: LBM Management) notched a double-double by scoring 31 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) to lead the effort and the former international point guard Julia Niemojewska (170-1998) supported her with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Wisla players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds by international forward Anna Jakubiuk (182-1994) did not help to save the game for Gdynia . Slovakian guard Barbora Wrzesinski (178-1994) added 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Wisla moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bydgoszcz. Defending champion Gdynia keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Poznan and Sosnowiec.
