No shocking result in a game when third rankedWroclaw (9-3) defeated at home 7th ranked Torun (6-6) 65-58 on Saturday. Wroclaw outrebounded Torun 37-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Aleksandra Mielnicka (176-2004, agency: SPORTFORUM Agency) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and forward Aleksandra Ziemborska (182-2000) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Asianae Johnson (173, college: MSU) with 22 points and 4 assists and Slovakian Stella Tarkovicova (181-1999) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Torun's coach Elmedin Omanic let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Wroclaw have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-3 record behind leader Gorzow Wlkp. Loser Torun dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Gdynia and Wisla.
