Very predictable result when third rankedWroclaw (10-4) defeated at home 8th ranked Gdynia (6-8) 77-64 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds. Forward Aleksandra Ziemborska (182-2000) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Wroclaw's coach Arkadiusz Rusin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Camille Hobby (190-2001, college: Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Anna Jakubiuk (182-1994) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Gdynia players scored in double figures. Wroclaw maintains third position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Gorzow Wlkp. Gdynia lost fifth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the eighth place with eight games lost.
