Regular Season Round 15: J.Gora - Wroclaw 49-103

Bottom-rankedJ.Gora (0-15) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 103-49 loss to third ranked Wroclaw (11-4) in Jelenia Gora on Tuesday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to J.Gora 's 38. Wroclaw forced 26 J.Gora turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by J.Gora 's players. It was a great evening for forward Aleksandra Ziemborska (182-2000) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 assists. American power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) helped adding 18 points. Four Wroclaw players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Sierra Moore (180-1994, college: Penn State) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and center Martyna Walczak (190-2000) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wroclaw maintains third place with 11-4 record having just two points less than leader Gorzow Wlkp. J.Gora lost their fifteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
