Regular Season Round 24: Pruszkow - Pabianice 98-66

There was a small surprise when ninth rankedZnicz (12-12) outplayed 7th ranked Pabianice (11-12) in Pruszkow 98-66 on Saturday. Pruszkow dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Pabianice 's 32. Pruszkow had a 37-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Pruszkow especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The winners were led by guard Michal Szymanski (190-2004) who scored that evening 18 points and Pawel Lapinski (194-1996) supported him with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Znicz players scored in double figures. Znicz's coach Michal Tomaszewski felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by forward Wiktor Wilk (197-1996) did not help to save the game for Pabianice . Forward Sebastian Szymanski (194-1998) added 5 points and 10 rebounds. Pruszkow moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sosnowiec and Wisla Krakow. Loser Pabianice dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost.
