Regular Season Round 21: Lublin - J.Gora 93-66

Bottom-rankedJ.Gora (0-21) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 93-66 loss to second ranked Lublin (16-5) in Lublin. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Lublin outrebounded J.Gora 50-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. Lublin players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for international center Kamila Borkowska (201-2002) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American swingman Brooque Williams (175-1989, college: California, PA) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Agata Stepien (168-1995) answered with 29 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and center Jastina Kosalewicz (190-1991) added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for J.Gora. J.Gora's coach Rafal Sroka gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lublin maintains second place with 16-5 record having just two points less than leader Gorzow Wlkp. J.Gora lost their twenty first game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings.
