Seventh-rankedWisla (9-13) was very close to win a game against second ranked Lublin (17-5) on Sunday. Lublin managed to secure only three-point victory 74-71 . However their fans expected much easier game. Lublin looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lublin made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Kamila Borkowska (201-2002) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks. Serbian-Bosnian center Dragana Stankovic (195-1995) contributed with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Four Lublin players scored in double figures. American forward Taylor Williams (188-2001, college: Northwestern, agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and her fellow American import guard JaLeah Williams (175-2002, college: Louisville) added 12 points in the effort for Wisla. Lublin maintains second position with 17-5 record having just two points less than leader Gorzow Wlkp. Newly promoted Wisla keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Gdynia.
