Wroclaw outrebounded Torun 43-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and her fellow American import forward Mehryn Kraker (183-1994, college: Green Bay) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Asianae Johnson (173, college: MSU) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and DR Congolese power forward La Mama Kapinga-Maweja (194-1997, agency: LBM Management) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Five Wroclaw and four Torun players scored in double figures. Torun's coach Elmedin Omanic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
