Everything went according to plan in Krosno where sixth rankedStal (14-10) beat bottom-ranked Miasto Szkla (4-20) 87-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American guard Quan Jackson (193-1997, college: UAB) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian-Croatian guard Luka Sakota (198-2001, college: Northeastern) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Stal players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Ben Shungu (188-1997, college: Vermont) who recorded 8 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals and Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-1990) added 11 points and 13 rebounds respectively.
