Lublin dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Wroclaw 's 28. They outrebounded Wroclaw 45-24 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lublin players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International center Kamila Borkowska (201-2002) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Robbi Ryan (175-1997, college: Arizona St.) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Lublin players scored in double figures. American power forward GMrice Davis (189-1996, college: Fordham) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Latvian forward Digna Strautmane (188-1998, college: Georgia Tech) added 18 points and 4 steals respectively for Wroclaw in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
