WKS Slask forced 21 Arka turnovers. Strangely Arka outrebounded WKS Slask 43-30 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WKS Slask made 8 blocks. Jamaican-Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) stepped up and scored 19 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and the former international forward Jakub Niziol (201-1996, college: Cal Poly) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. WKS Slask's coach Ainars Bagatskis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Croatian center Kresimir Ljubicic (210-1998, agency: AltusBasket) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Luke Barrett (198-2001, college: SMC) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
