Zastal shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Wilki Morskie 's players. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-1994, college: Parkside) who scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. American guard Conley Garrison (185-1999, college: Furman) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jeremy Roach (188-2001, college: Baylor) who recorded 18 points and Serbian forward Nemanja Popovic (205-2001) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
