LeadingVasco da Gama (17-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of eighth ranked Sangalhos . Visitors were defeated by Sangalhos 86-81 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vasco da Gama. Sangalhos made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian forward Lincoln Rosebush (208-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and British forward Obinna Agu (198-1997, college: Northeastern St.) who added 24 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Canadian guard Akoi Yuot (203, college: SAIT) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and Angolan forward Felizardo Ambrosio (202-1987) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Sangalhos (9-13) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Vasco da Gama at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Braga.
