Regular Season Round 21: Al Rayyan - Al Sadd 64-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Rayyan (16-2) in Doha on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by Al Sadd (16-2) 67-64. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Al Rayyan. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 15-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Al Sadd outrebounded Al Rayyan 41-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Al Sadd keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa.
