There was no surprise in Bucuresti where 5th rankedTargoviste (7-7) was defeated by second ranked CSU ASE (9-4) 83-76 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 43-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for guard Dragos Parau (179-2006, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Matei-Alexandru Rosu (197-2007) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Iannis Paduraru (189-2004, agency: BIG) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Radu Dumitru (193-2004) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CSU ASE maintains second place with 9-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Laguna S. Newly promoted Targoviste keeps the fifth position with seven games lost.
