Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedDinamo (7-13) lost to fourth ranked Valcea (14-5) in Ramnicu Valcea 67-81 on Saturday. The game without a history. Valcea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Valcea outrebounded Dinamo 44-29 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Valcea looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American Cornelius Hudson (200-1993, college: Wake Forest) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Jamaican-Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) supported him with 26 points and 4 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Four Valcea players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) by American guard Anthony Roberts (192-2000, college: Stony Brook) did not help to save the game for Dinamo . The former international Nandor Kuti (196-1997) added 9 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valcea have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 14-5 record. Loser Dinamo B. keeps the twelfth place with 13 games lost.
