There was a change at the Liga I leadership position after last games. Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderSteaua CSA (16-3). They were defeated by fourth ranked Ploiesti CSM 2 (13-7) 81-75 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Steaua CSA.
