Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bucuresti:Rapid and Sp.Studentesc . Sp.Studentesc was smashed at home by 40 points 59-99 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. Rapid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rapid outrebounded Sp.Studentesc 43-18 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rapid looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Sp.Studentesc 's players. The best player for the winners was Slovakian forward Miroslava Mistinova (184-1997) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Ana Ivan (174-2004) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Rapid players scored in double figures. produced 12 points and added 13 points respectively for the hosts. Sp.Studentesc's coach Veljko Perovic already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rapid will meet at home Timisoara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sp.Studentesc will play against Cluj Napoca and hope to win that game.
