Timisoara can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Brasov (0-5) 88-26 . The game without a history. Timisoara led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 5 points in second quarter and to 12 points in second half. Timisoara held Brasov to an opponent 16.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Timisoara forced 43 Brasov turnovers and outrebounded them 63-43 including a 35-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Timisoara players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Brasov 's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Timisoara (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was Brasov 's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost.
