Bottom-rankedBrasov (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 100-29 loss to seventh ranked Agronomia (3-7) in Brasov. The game without a history. Agronomia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 5 points in third quarter and to 10 points in second half. Agronomia held Brasov to an opponent 22.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Agronomia forced 31 Brasov turnovers and outrebounded them 55-22 including a 26-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Agronomia players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Brasov 's players. It was a good game for Virginia Diaconu Ticu who led her team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Bianca Stan contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Agronomia's coach Ciubancan Mandica felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hungarian forward Livia Gereben (183-1999) replied with 12 points and American guard Domonique Davis (168-2000, college: Southern Miss) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Brasov. Agronomia moved-up to sixth place. Brasov at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
