Liga Nationala top team -Arad (10-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Targoviste (7-3) 80-65 . The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Arad outrebounded Targoviste 46-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. American forward TaiSheka Porchia (185-2000, college: Troy, agency: DITR) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 20 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and her fellow American import guard Juliunn Redmond (180-1998, college: Illinois St.) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side Serbian point guard Lena Radulovic (170-2000, agency: Olsta) responded with 13 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and the former international Gabriela Irimia (183-1990) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Arad maintains first place with 10-2 record. Targoviste at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost.
