The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-rankedBrasov 's (0-13) home loss to eighth ranked Timisoara (2-12) 35-103 on Thursday. The game without a history. Timisoara led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 2 points in third quarter and to 11 points in second half. Timisoara dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Brasov 's 24. Timisoara forced 44 Brasov turnovers and outrebounded them 39-22 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Timisoara looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Brasov 's players. It was a great evening for forward Bianca Calapis (178-2008) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Diana Spinean helped adding 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Timisoara's coach Dan Ionescu felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Ecaterina Zmau (-2010) with 6 points and 10 rebounds and guard Andra Ceusan (155-2010) scored 11 points. Newly promoted Timisoara maintains eighth place with 2-12 record. Brasov lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost.
