Very expected game when bottom-rankedBrasov (0-13) was rolled over at home by first ranked Rapid (12-2) 128-49 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Rapid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 7 points in first quarter. Rapid dominated down low during the game scoring 86 of its points in the paint compared to Brasov 's 22. Rapid forced 28 Brasov turnovers and outrebounded them 54-17 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rapid looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Brasov 's players. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Ana Ivan (174-2004) who led her team to a victory scoring 30 points and 5 rebounds. Belgian forward Maxuella Lisowa-Mbaka (178-2001) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Five Rapid players scored in double figures. Rapid's coach Alexandru Vasile felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Andra Ceusan (155-2010) with 21 points and 5 assists and Hungarian Eszter Kovacs (-1993) scored 12 points. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Rapid . They maintain first place with 12-2 record. Brasov lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost.
