Third-rankedDynamo (13-7) gave a tough game to first ranked UMMC (18-1) in Kursk on Monday. The visitors from Yekaterinburg managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70 . However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dynamo K.. The former international forward Anastasiia Kosu (185-2005, agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Slovenian center Eva Lisec (193-1995, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Belgian center Kyara Linskens (193-1996, agency: LBM Management) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Daria Repnikova (180-2000) scored 17 points. Four Dynamo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. UMMC have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-1 record. Dynamo at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost.
