An interesting game forUMMC (10-0) which hosted in Yekaterinburg one of their biggest challengers MBA (5-5). Top-ranked UMMC had an easy win 98-50 . UMMC dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to MBA 's 30 and had 19 for 26 from the free-throw line, while MBA only scored two points from the stripe. UMMC forced 20 MBA turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. UMMC players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by MBA 's players. MBA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Belarusian-American point guard Alex Bentley (173-1990, college: Penn State) scored 13 points and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Zhosselina Maiga (192-1996) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four UMMC players scored in double figures. At the losing side Evgenia Frolkina (182-1997) responded with 9 points and the former international center Valeria Yakovleva (187-2004) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UMMC have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-0 record. MBA at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. They share the position with Dynamo and Nadezhda.
