Quarter-Finals Round 1: TSU - Barnaul 90-59
Date: March 31, 2025
TSU forced 22 Barnaul turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. TSU players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Barnaul 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Nikita Balashov (208-1991) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Artem Vostrikov (201-1996) contributed with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Nikita Mozharovskiy (184-2003) answered with 15 points and power forward Kirill Gornaev (202-1996) added 5 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Barnaul. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
