Regular Season Round 1: Neftyanik - MBA 62-65
Date: October 2, 2025
Very significant was MBA's just 3-point road victory againstNeftyanik . Neftyanik was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. MBA made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and forward Yulia Savukova (177-2006, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) accounted for 16 points. Anastasiia Schekoldina came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Kristina Safonova (183-1997) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Neftyanik in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. MBA will play against Dynamo NR in Novosibirsk in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Neftyanik will have a break next round.
