Regular Season Round 16: UMMC - Dynamo NR 112-69

PBL top team -UMMC (16-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Dynamo NR (4-12) in Yekaterinburg 112-69 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dynamo NR. UMMC shot 61.8 percent from the field. They also forced 24 Dynamo NR turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. UMMC looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Dynamo NR 's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of Karina Nizamova who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Portuguese-Serbian guard Jovana Nogic (185-1997, college: Providence) who added 22 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. UMMC's coach Dmitry Donskov felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Ajae Petty responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and scored 12 points and 6 assists. UMMC have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-0 record. Dynamo NR at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost.
