Regular Season Round 21: MBA - UMMC 67-75

PBL top team -UMMC (20-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked MBA (11-10) in Moscow 75-67 . UMMC players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international point guard Karina Nizamova (170-1992) stepped up and scored 8 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Belarusian-American point guard Alex Bentley (173-1990, college: Penn State) chipped in 9 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Mariya Krymova (170-2001) with 18 points and 5 assists and Evgenia Frolkina (182-1997) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-1 record. MBA at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Dynamo.
