Semi-Finals Game 6: Kosice - Inter Bratislava 97-86

Kosice joined Levice in the Finals. They topped Inter Bratislava at home court to take the series 4 wins to 2. The game was mostly controlled by Kosice. Inter Bratislava managed to win fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kosice made 32-of-38 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 31 personal fouls committed by Inter Bratislava helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Svetozar Stamenkovic (206-90) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Croatian forward Igor Maric (196-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Four Kosice players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and Serbian point guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) added 18 points respectively. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
