Regular Season Round 16: Trencin - Samorin 72-65

Trencin's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 14 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Samorin (1-15) 72-65. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian center Viktoriia Rostotska (187-2002) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds and Sooa Mamrakova (-2002) who added 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Timea Sujova (172-1984) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Ukrainian Vira Hrymaliuk (-2004) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Trencin (1-14) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Samorin's tenth loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. Trencin will play against higher ranked B.Bystrica (#7) in Banska Bystrica in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Samorin will play at home against Klokani and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
