The game between second rankedInter Bratislava (18-10) and fifth ranked Blue Wings (17-12) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Inter Bratislava was defeated by Blue Wings in a tough game in Bratislava 78-87 . Blue Wings made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 24 Inter Bratislava turnovers. Strangely Inter Bratislava outrebounded Blue Wings 39-25 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Keyshaun Langley (185, college: UNCG, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Gordon (198-1993, college: Wofford) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Gordon is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Canadian Shamiel Stevenson (198-1998, college: Nebraska) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Milan Szabo (206-1998, college: UT Tyler) added 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Blue Wings have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Inter Bratislava at the other side dropped to the third position with ten games lost. Blue Wings are looking forward to face Spisski Rytieri (#6) in Nova Ves in the next round. Inter Bratislava will play on the road against NEXTGEN in Nitra and is hoping to win this game.
