Regular Season Round 35: Prievidza - NEXTGEN 99-73

Bottom-rankedNEXTGEN (0-32) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-73 loss to fifth ranked Prievidza (20-15) in Prievidza on Saturday evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Marc Loving (203-1994, college: Ohio St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Patrik Lukac (189-2002) helped adding 17 points and 5 assists. Four Prievidza players scored in double figures. Point guard Bruno Randuska (191-2008) responded with 14 points and Robert Hudec (191-2005) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prievidza moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Blue Wings. Loser NEXTGEN still closes the standings.
