There was no surprise in Kosice where 5th rankedYoung Angels (12-13) were defeated by second ranked Ruzomberok (21-3) 61-57 on Wednesday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ruzomberok made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian forward Olha Yatskovets (188-1997, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Zoesha Smith (185, college: Georgia Tech) who added 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Ruzomberok's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Khiana Johnson (173-1998, college: Radford, agency: LBM Management) responded with 19 points and her fellow American import forward Sherese Pittman (188-2003, college: Tulane) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Ruzomberok have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-3 record behind leader B.Bystrica. Young Angels lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 13 games lost.
