Very important is a road loss of third rankedMaribor (4-2) against fourth ranked Triglav (3-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Maribor was defeated by Triglav in Kranj 70-60 . Triglav forced 19 Maribor turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for Lara Kozina-Bubnic who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Manca Vrecer helped adding 21 points and 6 assists. At the losing side American forward Destiny Thompson (180-1997, college: Georgian Court) responded with 17 points and Jelena Grujic scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Triglav maintains fourth place with 3-4 record. Maribor at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost.
