KBL top team - Mobis Phoebus (34-10) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Samsung Thunders (10-34) in Seoul 102-76. They outrebounded Samsung Thunders 40-25 including 18 on the offensive glass. Mobis Phoebus looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Samsung Thunders' players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Nate Miller (193-87, college: Bowling Green) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Gi-Beom Cheon (187-94) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 34-10 record. Samsung Thunders lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 34 lost games. Mobis Phoebus will meet at home DB Promy (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Samsung Thunders will have a break next round.
