Regular Season Round 39: Mobis Phoebus - SK Knights 106-86

KBL top team - Mobis Phoebus (40-11) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked SK Knights (18-33) in Ulsan 106-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SK Knights. Mobis Phoebus players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 19-of-22 shooting from the field). American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Aaron Haynes (201-81, college: Boise St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Chris Lofton (188-86, college: Tennessee) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for SK Knights. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 40-11 record. Defending champion SK Knights keep the ninth position with 33 games lost. Mobis Phoebus' next round opponent will be league's second-placed ET Land Elephants in Inchon and it will be for sure the game of the week. SK Knights' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Seoul Samsung Thunders.
