LEB Gold top team - River Andorra (18-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Clinicas Rincon (10-11) in Malaga 91-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Clinicas Rincon. Clinicas Rincon was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 35-20 third quarter run of River Andorra. River Andorra made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Forward Marc Blanch (195-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!). Swingman David Navarro (192-83) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Naturalized Lithuanian forward Tautvydas Sabonis (203-92) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76, agency: Duran International) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Clinicas Rincon. Four Clinicas Rincon players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. River Andorra have an impressive ten-game winning streak. River Andorra maintains first position with 18-3 record. Newly promoted Clinicas Rincon dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. River Andorra will have a break next round.
