Leche Rio Breogan defeated Burgos in Lugo 68-55. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Leche Rio Breogan forced 21 Burgos turnovers and outrebounded them 35-23 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Alex Llorca (192-89) stepped up and scored 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and point guard Daniel Lopez (187-82) chipped in 15 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. At the losing side Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Austrian Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Two Points) scored 9 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Burgos will play next round against Lobe Huesca trying to get back on the winning streak.
