Everything went according to plan when leader Plasencia (2-0) beat on the road bottom-ranked Utrera (0-2) 73-60 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 19-3 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Plasencia dominated on the defensive end, holding Utrera to just 3 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. They outrebounded Utrera 36-22 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Utrera was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
