Everything could happen in Castellon at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Castello and 7th ranked FC Barcelona II had identical 8-8 record. This time Castello used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Barcelona 92-76 on Friday night. FC Barcelona II at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Castello will face Planasa NV (#13) in Pamplona in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. FC Barcelona II will play at home against Lobe Huesca (#5) and hope to win that game.
