Regular Season Round 3: Castelldefels - Barbera 61-68

Date: October 9, 2016
No shocking result in a game when Barbera (2-0) beat on the road Castelldefels (0-2) 68-61 on Sunday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-12. But Castelldefels won second period 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Barbera won last quarter 19-14. It was a good game for point guard Sergio Perez (189-85) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Center Hernan Olaguibe (203-86) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Barbera's coach David Lizano used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Jordi Boronat (-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and forward Albert Olmedo (198-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Castelldefels.
