Not a big story in a game in Madrid where bottom-ranked Getafe (0-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Gran Canaria B (3-1) 64-54 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 40-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvia guard Kristaps Gluditis (191-95) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and Senegalese center Biram Faye (206-0) who added 9 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Iker Cruz responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Victor Moreno (195-98) scored 9 points and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gran Canaria B moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Real Canoe. Loser Getafe still closes the standings with four games lost. Gran Canaria B will face Casvi (#8) in Villaviciosa in the next round. Getafe will play at home against Azuqueca (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
