Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Meridiano Alicante and 5th ranked Zornotza had identical 5-2 record. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Meridiano Alicante (6-2) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Zornotza keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Meridiano Alicante will face Sammic ISB (#3) in Azpeitia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Zornotza will play on the road against Blancos de Rueda in Valladolid and hope to win that game.
