There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Igualada (2-6) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Cerdalyola (2-6) 79-75 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Igualada was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Albert Salat (191-91) who scored 20 points. Guard Genis Tena (186-89) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cerdalyola players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Miquel Moliner (177-90) who recorded 15 points and center Micky Garcia (206-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Cerdalyola moved-up to eleventh place in Group C-B, which they share with Igualada and Andorra II. Cerdalyola will face league's leader Pardinyes-L. in Lleida in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
